| Cassina celebrates 80 years |

In conjunction with contemporary furniture fair Salone Internazionale del Mobile
in Milan, April 16-21, the firm will celebrate 80 years with the
retrospective exhibit "Made in Cassina," on view through September 7.
In the mid-1950s, Cassina traveled to Paris and obtained the
rights to manufacture Le Corbusier's
collection. With the success of the license, Cassina
embarked upon a larger program, The Cassina Masters Collection,
which today includes work from the major icons of design. Cassina SpA was first introduced to the American market in the early 1960s. In 1994, Cassina expanded its presence in the US and began selling through its new company, Cassina USA. Their official website can be found HERE
